Activison launches Wii games label

Activision has announced a new range of Wii-exclusive casual games for Nintendo’s hit console. The oddly named ‘Wee 1st’ label will cover all Wii games from Activision, and the first range of titles is due in the Autumn.
This includes Little League World Series 2008, Rapala Fishing Frenzy and Dancing With The Stars: Get Your Dance On. Clearly aimed at the casual market, there are also more in the pipeline to be announced before the end of the year.
Activision recently merged with World of Warcraft owner Vivendi to form one of the world’s biggest games publishing and development companies.
ZeniMax has announced that Bethesda Softworks will publish Wheelspin, a futuristic racing game developed by Archer Maclean’s studio, Awesome Play, for the Wii. more...
