Electronic Arts, the California based videogame publisher, plans to introduce a line of sports titles based on its key franchises, redesigned for Nintendo Wii controller.

 

Five games will be released starting this summer under the new EA Sports All-Play brand: "NCAA Football 09 All-Play", "Madden NFL 09 All-Play", "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All-Play", "NBA Live 09 All-Play" and "FIFA 09 All-Play".

 

NCAA Football 09 All-Play is billed as the most authentic college sports gaming experience on Wii Console with nearly 200 schools and features Electronic Arts new All-Play controls.

 

Madden NFL 09 All-Play features approachable and innovative game play by unleashing the power of the Wiimote through the new "EA SPORTS Call Your Shots" feature. Call Your Shots allows you to create your own plays on the fly and direct receivers where they should run. You can utilize the all-new play calling system. Players can be competitive with three playbooks to choose from, ranging from "Easy" to "Advanced".

 

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 All-Play features personalized coaching from Hank Haney, Tiger Woods personal coach. The game also features new graphics and user interface while also incorporating interactive and social mini games. The innovative standing swing control takes advantage of the Wii console s unique control scheme. The game will also feature online play that allows up to four players to play each hole at the same time.

 

Step onto the court with a unique basketball experience designed exclusively for the Wii Console. NBA LIVE 09 All-Play offers an over-the-top basketball experience designed with everyone in mind. Improved responsiveness and more control options make this videogame more fun and easier and to play than ever before.

 

Step onto the pitch and play a unique football experience exclusively for the Wii. Enjoy FIFA Soccer 09 All-Play one of two ways--a Wii-specific take on the classic "11 v 11" simulation or over-the-top "8 v 8" arcade action. Play with your Mii alongside Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney and other football stars, steal the ball and make outrageous shots by waving your Wii Remote. You ve never played football like this before! Plus, play fun Footie Party Games such as Table Soccer and Boot It with family and friends.

ZeniMax has announced that Bethesda Softworks will publish Wheelspin, a futuristic racing game developed by Archer Maclean’s studio, Awesome Play, for the Wii.   more...
