Boom Blox Bash Party

This is the sequel to the original Boom Blox, a fantastic physics puzzler that rates as one of the best games on the Wii. The game uses an amazing physics engine and challenges you to destroy the piles of blocks.

Thanks to the physics, the blocks and other items behave in a realistic and very satisfying manner as they crash to the ground. Bash Party continues this fine tradition, with some cool new features. You  might be knocking down towers of explosive barrels, setting off enormous explosions, or knocking down barrels with a bowling ball, or perhaps playing a Jenga-style game.

The great thing about the puzzles is how much variety and flexibility there is, each can be solved in a different way and there are hundreds upon hundreds of different puzzles in this game. It’s also fun just watching stuff fall over and explode due to the brilliant physics.

Bash Party provides players with some new toys to enjoy. You can fire blocks with a slingshot using the Wii remote, or paint blocks with a paintball gun. It also provides some clever new challenges by placing puzzles in unusual environments, so you might find yourself in space without any gravity, or under water.

Bash Party also allows players to create their own levels, giving you near-unlimited replayability as you hop online to download new challenges and share your creations with others.

Brilliant sequel to an already great game, there’s not only more of what made the first so fun it also introduces loads of brilliant new features. An essential buy for Wii fans.
