Game Party

Game Party allows you to play seven of your favorite pub/arcade mini games from around the world on your Nintendo Wii Console: Darts, Air Hockey, Shuffle Board, Hoops Shoot, Skill Ball, Ping Cup and Trivia.

You are awarded tickets for high scores which you can use to unlock new game modes such as Lightning Trivia and Curling. 

There are also 125 Mii-like characters to choose from, and more can be unlocked as tickets are accumulated.

All of these games are simple and more or less easy to control: take aim and toss your dart at the dart board, slide your hand forward to hit a hockey puck, or use a bowling motion to send your skill ball into a high scoring hoop.

You can participate in multiplayer competitions. Form teams to take on the competition and keep track of your progress on the leader board.

 

Shuffleboard is the standout. Darts is highly amusing. Hoop Shot is almost too easy while Air Hockey is hard to control. Skill Ball is very similar to the Bowling game within Nintendo s Wii Sports. Ping Cup has the potential to be a cool drinking game. The Trivia game has a strong American slant. If you’re not an expert inAmerican sports, music  and TV shows, you’re lost.

Once you figure out the controls, all the games are a lot of fun and highly addictive.

Final Verdict: Game Party is the ultimate party game for younger gamers. Big fun for the whole family on a rainy afternoon.
