Sports Island

Sports Island is a brand new arcade style family videogame  for the Nintendo Wii Console that lets up to four players compete against one another simultaneously to test their skills and reactions to the limit.

Includes Kart Racing, Soccer, Motocross, Beach Volleyball, Snowboarding, Badminton, Archery, Basketball, Curling and Figure Skating and many more.

There are multiple game options such as Challenger Mode, where you’re playing each sport in succession, in addition to the obvious single and multiplayer modes.

Each discipline requires you to use the Wii Remote and the Wii Nunchuk in unique yet accessible ways. A subtle swing of the remote is needed to hit the ball in Beach Volleyball, while a twist of the wrist is used to ride the slopes when you’re snowboarding.

Final verdict: Soccer and Badminton are way too slow. Only Archery and Curling are really any fun to play. Stick to Wii Sports.
